Next energy cost reduction tool?

Next energy cost reduction tool?

RE: Next energy cost reduction tool?

Will the homeowner have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it?

RE: Next energy cost reduction tool?

It appears to have only 3600 watt capacity. If so, I would waste the energy to install it.

RE: Next energy cost reduction tool?

If it's not too expensive, this looks like a good way to make the best use of your solar power energy source.  Assuming that your utility will allow selling back the power, that is.

Of course, this device does not include the solar power panels.  A slight extra charge.

SphincterBoy;  They cost $11,000... Answer:probably.

wareagle; Yes and something like 7,200W pass thru.  Seems offal small for the typical 100A service.  Must expect you to divvy up your house wiring. (Big pain)

jghrist;  "A slight extra charge"  Like just half of "an arm and a leg".  lol

Seems to me that if you take battery and charging efficiency into to the equation it's gonna hurt.(bad)

The magazine article I read really only presented the device as a non solar device.  Charge batteries at the cheap night rate use them during the expensive day rate.
