I have install photoworks with SW2001+, but when I open the solidworks, there is always a warning windows appeared. it says can not find material archives. How to solve this problem?

Thanks

Adam

RE: Photoworks problems

Adam,

You need to reset your predefined archives.

Click your Photoworks pull down menu, click materials, click on the reset predefined archives icon at the bottom of the window...Repeat the procedure for your scenes.

For more help check out www.google.com under the group comp.cad.solidworks run a search an you will find quite a few of these types of postings...including one of my old ones.

Hope that helps,

I do following your instruction, but another warning windows appear, it say the solidworks or photoworks not set up correctly. I click O.K. , then nothing happened.Would you please tell me what's up?

RE: Photoworks problems

My guess is that you have installed incorrectly. Try uninstalling SW and PW from your computer. Also remove it from the registry. This can be a little tricky. I know this has been discussed on google so do a search there on this subject of removing SW in the registry.

After you do that, reinstalled it and pay close attention to the way you answer SW install questions. That is my best advice for you at this point.

Good luck,
