Best way to estimate performance of a SLDASM ?
Best way to estimate performance of a SLDASM ?
(OP)
I'm guessing either file size, assy stats, or both give the best idea as to how taxing a SLDASM is going to be on your system; assuming the computer is fairly "balanced" (proc, ram, video). Any input or corrections on this thinking? I am sure other factors, I just want to be able to get an idea fairly quickly so wondering which 1 or 2 factors would best represent this.
Thanks,
Mike

RE: Best way to estimate performance of a SLDASM ?
Of course the process relies on my past experience of what the part complexities will typically be based on the type of assy as well as, in general, what an assy of the type being estimated would involve (in terms of performance affecting characteristics). I hope that all comes out how I intended.
I know I am not going to have exact quantitative info from this but some idea at least without having to open and look at every assy people are working on.
Thanks for you help on this,
Mike
