PDMWorks 2006 - Revision scheme

PDMWorks 2006 - Revision scheme

Another revision scheme question.

We have set up our basic revision scheme in PDMWorks but are still having a problem. Prototype revisions are X1, X2, X3, etc. When we switch to Production level drawings we start our intial release as a rev "dash" - then it rolls to an A, B , C, etc.

The problem is that PDMWorks gives an error when we try to use the - symbol. We didn't note it as an illegal character in the help menu. Any help would be appreciated.

Your admin has to add it to the revision list.

Thanks for the response. I have admin. rights. I think we've fixed this one.

The "working copy" was set at a "-" as oppossed to the "+" so that must have been giving it a conflict. Now that I've changed the working copy to a "+" the secondary revision scheme seems to handle the "-" character.

Thanks
