Hydrotest for Tank

Hydrotest for Tank

Hydrotest for Tank

(OP)
Dear All, I have one problem. A tank has been hydrotested but unfortunately the contractor miss to install (welding)anode bed inside the tank (in the drawing, not mentioned about anode bed but mentioned in the contract requirement). Did the contractor still need to carry out the hydrotest or not? Which clause needs to refer?

RE: Hydrotest for Tank

Are you asking if the tank has to be rehydrotested after the anode bed is installed inside the tank?  How is the bed going to be fastened (if any) to the tank?

RE: Hydrotest for Tank

(OP)
Dear Sir, 2 nos. of 100mm X 100mm plates have been welded to the bottom plate (after rhe hydrotest) and steel rods from the anode bed will be attached (welded) to the plate. Prior to the installation of the steel rods, vacuum test of the 100mm X 100mm plate shall be carried-out.
