CTB file not plotting correctly on new plotter

CTB file not plotting correctly on new plotter

(OP)
I recently changed jobs and went with a new company that does not have a large format plotter; therefore we are having to outsource our plotting. I set up a new plotter based on what the printing company has. I am using the same CTB file I used at my old job. I can use this ctb file on the smaller printers we have in the office and it works fine. When I sent the first plot files to the printing company, everything came back with bold lineweights, colors set to "0 screening" were being plotted, etc. After digging a little deeper, I realized that even in plot preview, you can tell the ctb file is not being used.

I've even tried setting up different designjet plotters and the plot previews always give the same results. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? What can i do to fix this?

Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: CTB file not plotting correctly on new plotter

Can you just give them PLT files instead to print. You should get what you plot preview then.

RE: CTB file not plotting correctly on new plotter

Can you make a .pdf file of the plot and send it to the printer instead?
