Steam generation wetness factor and flow rate increases

Steam generation wetness factor and flow rate increases

Dear sirs,

I'm looking for some references here.  I am investigating a steam generator which is subject to rapid changes in steam generation rates.  I'd like to understand what is the best technlogy to evaluate to manage these rates of change such that they done create wet steam and what are the typical design criteras used...

ie superheat..., demister type/seperator type.

we dont have a similar grade heat to the steam we use to superheating maybe complex ?.. but i've thought it may be the most likely to succeed.

RE: Steam generation wetness factor and flow rate increases

What kind of boiler? What are the steam loads, and how fast do they change?

If the steam is being used for heating - process or space - you very much do not want superheat.

S AND Tube boiler,
Approx steam is for heating and process use.

APPROX 40/50 te/hr in 5-10 minutes

RE: Steam generation wetness factor and flow rate increases

You may want to use a combination of steam drying technologies like cyclonic, chevron, and mesh pads.  Each has a different range where it operates and would be more suitable than the others for each point within the range of your steam generator.
