tensile strenght of copper upon temperature

(OP)
Do you know wher I can find the mechanical charasteristics of copper upon temperature. I am looking for the tensile strenght of copper at 20°C, 400°C and 800°C.

These properties were determined long ago.*  However, pure copper has few high temperature applications due to rapid stress relaxation (creep) at even moderate temperatures.  So, for the past 40 or 50 years, researchers have been improving the high temperature properties of copper by alloying (solid solution & precipitation hardening) and oxide dispersion strengthening (ODS copper).  Properties of pure copper are sometimes given for comparison. Results are mostly in academic journals & patents.  You can check these for recent data:  http://www.scirus.com/srsapp/search?q=copper+%22high-temperature+strength%22&ds=jnl&ds=nom&ds=web&g=s&t=all

Tensile strengths of high conductivity copper (C10100 or C10200 rod) to 800oC are given in Metals Handbook, Volume 2.  Properties and Selection: Nonferrous Alloys and Pure Metals, 9th Edn., p. 277 (1979).
Tensile strength data (measured from plot):
 20oC    430 MPa  (62.4 ksi)
400oC    151 MPa  (21.9 ksi)
800oC      13 MPa  ( 1.9 ksi)

*Tensile strengths at elevated temperature vary with loading rate; one study from 1931 gives both lower (14.9 ksi at 400oC) and higher (2.7 ksi at 800oC) values in comparison to those above.

Creep severely limits the application of copper in stressed conditions at elevated temperature.  The ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII (1959), limits design stress to 2.5 ksi at 400oF (204oC).
