Is anyone out there familiar with RSLogix Frameworks Function Builder and Diagram Developer?

I have created a program with Diagram Developer and I want to test it before exporting it to my online project and subsequently downloading it to the PLC.

I would like to know if there is a simulation software that I can copy this program to that will simulate the logic.

Thanks in advance.

RE: RSLogix Frameworks help

On a Honeywell system, where I do most of my work, I build numerics and discreet state "dummy" IO variables.

I connect my controller's inputs and outputs to these variables, and use them to test my programming.

Once I think I am good, then I connect to my actual IO's.

I don't quite understand what you mean by a simulator - but this is how I test my own programming. It should be similar in RSLogix (AB right?).

It's Rockwell actually.  I guess what I mean by "simulator" is that if I have a sequence of valves on timers that need to open in a certain order, I wanted to be able to run the timers and see if the sequence works out the way it's supposed to.

Not to worry tho.  I held my breath and applied my edits to the online program and it ended up working!  I did send 3 of the units into fail safe mode while uploading to the PLC, but two of them were down anyway, and the other was running slow, so it came back up with no problems.  I figured out later that I should just download the edits, not the entire program.  Oh well, no harm, no foul, lesson learned. smile
