I have started trying to use a memory module for MicroLogix 1100 programming but it will not overwrite the current channel configuration even when the "Memory Module Over-Write Protected" box is not checked. Does anyone know how to get the channel configuration to be overwritten?

RE: Micrologix 1100 memory module not overwriting channel configuration

this may sound dumb, but try checking the box and seeing if that works.  i've had similar happen.

this guy seems to have had the opposite problem:

i've only read about it, never used it, so i cant be of any more help.

Thanks for the post. It doesn't sound dumb at all. I've had similar things happen too. I had the program in the processor set both ways with no change in outcome at all. I have not tried checking the box and then burning the eeprom... It seems like that box checking doesn't do squat.
