Looking for Encoder

Looking for Encoder

Looking for Encoder

(OP)
Hi all!

Does anyone recognise this encoder and manufacturer?

AEBRIELTD (or perhaps AEBRIE Ltd??)
model 9DITCW/33/24-P/6 24Vdc Optical

My customer has one that has gone wrong and asked to find a replacement.

The best info would be the number of pulses as 24Vdc encoders are easy to source.

I look forward to any replies and thank you all in advance.

RE: Looking for Encoder

Usually you can get any encoder with many different
resolution (# of pulses/rev) - so unless the partnumber
includes the resolution info, you can't find it out.

What is the diameter and the required resolution?
If you don't know :

What is it used for? Do you have the data/schematics of the
circuit which uses the output?

RE: Looking for Encoder

It would be possible to find it out experimentally by

1.) installing a high but arbitrary resolution
encoder
2.) inserting a frequency translator circuit into the
output and set the frequency ratio experimentally
