Array to follow a path

Array to follow a path

Array to follow a path

(OP)
I have a number of handrail posts that are on a pathway.  I have made the lines and arcs making up the side of the pathway into PL and joined into 1. Is it possible to array the posts along this line with set centres. With rec and polar in the array box not being any use is there another way. I am using Autocad 2006.

Thanks for any help

Hi,

try "_measure" or "_divide"...

Thanks exxit.  I had thought of that one.  The path posts are rec box section and what I was looking for was if it was possible to array along the pathway so that the box sections did not have to be rotated slightly to follow the + -curvature.

taffcad,

make a block with Your posts with the right inserationpoint. "_divide" -> block -> your blockname -> array yes/no -> segments...

Is that, what are you looking for...?
