Shotcuts in the file open dialog

Hi guys (and gals),
Does anyone know whether one can add shortcuts to the File -> open/save dialog on the left? We have one hectic tree structure for the different projects and it takes a lot of clicking to get where we want to be????

RE: Shotcuts in the file open dialog

Short cuts in what sense?  Do you have a large assembly, certain items loaded into visualization mode, certain in design mode?  Just certain assemblies loaded into catia?

Regards,
Derek

I was hoping there was a way to add a "favourites" shortcut to the file dialog box. At the moment it has "Recent", "Desktop", "My Documents", "My Computer" and "My Network Places". This has nothing to do with the tree of the catia parts or products themselves, but my diretory tree structure of our network. I want to add shortcuts if possible to the diffirent projects.
ps. For all I know, this is acually a windows function.

Thanx in advance,
Gary.
(if only i knew how to post a picture i would make a screen shot)

RE: Shotcuts in the file open dialog

Gary - That is a windows function.  I put a shortcut in a My Docs/Work directory to the job directory/.../location of Assembly.CATProduct

I have looked at the DLNAME config of Catia, too much admin.

Regards,
Derek

Thanks Derek, I'll have to do the same.
Best Regards, Gary.
