SSR for motor control
SSR for motor control
(OP)
Hi. I would like to know what the outcome would be if I supply this SSR ( www.power-io.com/products/hdd.htm ) with voltages within it's range but more than twice (40 kHz) the cycles it's tested at.

RE: SSR for motor control
Why not contact the manufacturer and ask them what would happen if you were to supply an overfrequency to their SSR.

You may induce a state where the device is modulating instead of switching. The losses incured by the modulating service will probably induce rapid failure from overheating.
