Dynamic Storage across links - possible?

Dynamic Storage across links - possible?

Dynamic Storage across links - possible?

(OP)
Hi:

New user on first project.  Version 7.0.  We only have the 5 node starter version.  I have 5 ponds - 5 hydrographs - 2 inlets and a final pipe.  All have the POTENTIAL to cause tailwater conditions on the others.

Is it possible to model this using links?  I get the impression from the manual that the links are static without being able to dynamically interact.  I need to know if I have to ask the boss to upgrade.  Project due next Friday.

RE: Dynamic Storage across links - possible?

You need to increase your node capacity.  The tailwater capabilities only operate within the current file.  While a link can be used to import a hydrograph, it doesn't provide the "two way" interaction needed to handle tailwater effects.
