SolidWorks PDMWorks 2006 - Revision Scheme

SolidWorks PDMWorks 2006 - Revision Scheme

SolidWorks PDMWorks 2006 - Revision Scheme

(OP)
In process od setting up the PDM works and have a question. Our company uses a revision scheme that follows the pattern: X1, X2, X3, etc for a prototype drawing and then once released for production it changes to a typical A, B, C etc status. I can't figure out how to make this happen in PDMWorks.
I have setup a test Project and thought I could make it happen using the LifeCycle functionality. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: SolidWorks PDMWorks 2006 - Revision Scheme

You don't need lifecycle just to make that happen.  Just use revision schemes where primary Scheme is X1, X2, X3, etc and secondary Scheme 2 is A, B, C.  Use Sequential Revisioning switch.

Only Admin can change/add revision schemes.
