(OP)
My company was looking at switching to the Carel PCOxs PLC for controlling rooftop HVAC equipment.

Is anyone familiar with this type of PLC?

It is designed for the HVAC field.  Looks great - easy to install analog temperature inputs and analog outputs for "modulating" burners and dampers. A very nice display/control interface for occupied room wall installation.  Standard 24VAC power, etc.

Unfortunately it is a real bear to program.  It takes months to pick up.

Are there any comparable competitors that might be easier to use?
