Generative Structural Analysis

Generative Structural Analysis

Hello,
Have you ever used Generative Structural Analysis? Do you recommend it for FEA tests? Any suggestions.
Thank you.

RE: Generative Structural Analysis

We did some test and it works alright actually. the problems we came across was memory related. When performing analysis with higher accuracy it demands much memory (hard drive space) for the temp/scratch file. We plan to do some more tests using a network disc and also test if a usb/fw can do the trick.

Azrael - A 64 bit workstation would make a substantial difference.  If you choose a single processor machine you can use up to 8GB of ram.  Go to dual processor and you can hit 16GB of ram and basically an unlimited amount of virtual.  You will be wasting your time with a network disk on a 32 bit machine.

Regards,
Derek
