Solid model of Small Block Chevy?

Solid model of Small Block Chevy?

(OP)
Does anyone know of a place to download a Solid Model of the Small Block Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Etc? Only need the outside Dimensional stuff internals mean nothing.

Thanks,
SolidDesign

RE: Solid model of Small Block Chevy?

I would also like to throw in a request for a Ford C6 transmission.

RE: Solid model of Small Block Chevy?

Googling "engine dimensions" got several hits.

One of the better ones is here

www.carnut.com/specs/_engdim.html - 13k -

but maybe this is not the "solid model" you requested?

RE: Solid model of Small Block Chevy?

Yea, I already googled myself to death and found that one, but it leaves out a lot and even refers to a Ford spec for the bolt pattern. Probably impossible to get.

I have a C6 here and will try to make a Solidworks model of it. It won't be easy with a tape measure. If it works out I will post it somewhere for everyone to use.

If you know someone who is a SEMA member and does transmission work, they can request a digital drawing of the transmission.  I know this works for my stuff (Cylinder Heads).
