Is is possbile to select all objects found within a polyline (or boundary), regardless of z value (i.e as seen in 2d).

I've looked all over help but cant seem to find anything. Maybe a LSP routine?

RE: Acad 2006 - Select objects within boundary

Use the "fence" option when selecting objects?

RE: Acad 2006 - Select objects within boundary

(OP)
Fence is fine but doesnt select the objects within the polyline and most other select options work such that you have to define the selection or crossing or fence rather than using an existing object to do so.

Luckily we have map which I cant use but found out using boundary trim you can delete all those objects I was talking about (even though the description suggests it will trim rather than delete).
