Unwanted Lines

Unwanted Lines

Unwanted Lines

(OP)
If I have a model which has a curve tangent to a flat surface, such as you'd get if you put a fillet on an edge, all views (except wireframe and shaded with no edges) show a line along the interface between the flat surface and the fillet.

This does help one visualize where the different features end, but it seems like they shouldn't show up in drawings, as the physical part has no line there. I don't remember ever including these lines when drawing by hand. Is there any way to have drawings not show these lines, aside from using the views noted above?

RE: Unwanted Lines

Yes ... RMB on the view & select Tangent Edges & make selection from there.

cheers

That's just what I was looking for. Thanks. Didn't really know what to call them to search in Help.
