Solidworks Animator question
Solidworks Animator question
(OP)
Hi
I've just spent most of the day trying to get my head around Solidworks animator and it's now driving me nut's.
I followed the online tutorial (oil pump) and saved it as an avi. file, Which took forever (low spec machine).
The movie it created though didn't show the pump housing fade out like it did in solidworks.
Why not?
I want to use this fade feture (transparency setting) in my model for work is it possible to do this in an avi. file?
Regards
Alex

It rendered the animation frame by frame, and took half an hour to calculate it.
Does that mean that it was using the PhotoWorks material buffer?
Can you create an avi. file of the assembly not rendered? as the solidworks assembly is good enough.
Is it a matter of turning off the PW buffer?
If so How's it done?
Alex.

I think I moved the time line to mid-way through the disappearing act and kept tweaking the settings until it rendered properly--but it did work.

RE: Solidworks Animator question
I've manged animate a machine showing it's operation cycle.
I would like to add some text about half way through indicating the secondary phase of the machines operation.
Is this possible?
How's it done?
Cheers
Alex
