I'm doing a retrofit on an existing building that has "Marcrest" joists.  These are not your ordinary SJI joists.  They have angles for the top and bottom chords and pipe with crushed ends for lattices.  I'm convinced that these are from a manufacturer who is no longer around.  Does anyone have an old catalog or information about this company?

RE: Marcrest joists

No clue, but there was a blurb in May 2006 Modern Steel Construction where you can go to www.steeljoist.org, click on "What's New", look for the "Joist Information Form", submit any known information, and SJI will search its files for additional info.

Thanks!  But unfortunately this is not a SMI sanctioned joist so they have no information.
