ATEX flowmeters

ATEX flowmeters

ATEX flowmeters

(OP)
We have a flowmeter that has the transducer on the end of the probe and is therefore installed at the application point on the air vent pipe.  these pipes are at high level and not easily accessible which is a problem for servicing and calibration.  does anyone on here know of an instrument where just the probe can be installed at the application point?  the flowmeters are for detecting dangerous gases and needs to comply with ATEX directive.

thanks for your help...

RE: ATEX flowmeters

Can you use pitot tubes?
This would allow you to mount the transducer in a more accessible location and run tubing to the pitot tubes. If there are condensable gases involved this mwthod may not serve.
