Deleting unused links in excel

Deleting unused links in excel

Deleting unused links in excel

(OP)
Can anyone advise me how to delete links that no longer in use. Excel creates link during copying an existing file under another file name and modify it for different use. The modified file is no longer uses the link. However, whenever I open the new modified file I was asked if I update the link or not. I can not find any cell uses this link.
I wish excel writers could put another option to delete the link source file under edit\links option.

Any quick response appreciated. Thanks in advence.
