Is there an actual ASME code limiting the number of times I can PWHT WC6 P4 material?  Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

RE: PWHT

Possibly - how is that for an ASME response?

If the application of the casting requires impact testing per a specific Code or Standard, cumulative PWHT time becomes an essential variable because this will affect impact properties.

If impact requirements are not specified, you can repair a casting as many times as necessary OR unless the purchaser has specified in the PO a limit as to the number of weld repairs.

Thanks metengr, there is not any impact testing for this part.  Thanks again
