Download or purchase of blocks?

Download or purchase of blocks?

Download or purchase of blocks?

(OP)
A relative of mine is an architect and is relatively new to AutoCAD.  She is looking for architectural blocks (sinks, toilets, doors, etc...) because she feels it will take her weeks if not months to create her own blocks for her small business.

If there are collections of blocks out there I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me.

RE: Download or purchase of blocks?

One source that has blocks & details that may be of use is
http://www.caddetails.com/ ; these are details posted by the companies themself.

In addition the AutoDesk symbol library (purchase) is fairly inexpensive and has lots of fundamental details.
The time saved make purcahsing this well worth it.

Rich2001-

Is that caddetails.com current and/or correct?  I just tried it and didn't work.  I can easily search for it, but you might be quicker :)

thanks!
