RE: recovery of part file

What does the error message say?

RE: recovery of part file

(OP)
" Error loading segment PmBRepSegment in database C:\Documents and Settings\....file name.ipt" was the message.

Is there anyway that you can load offset or distance tables for splines by excel file or something and then make use of it to generate the spline? I have tried the parameters editing way but it is too tedious. and when I try to generate too many lofts from splines the thing hangs on me..
U see we are trying to design ships here and that involves too many curves and too many surfaces to handle as well.

And this model I took 3 weeks to generate and plop!!! it goes in a jiffy..

Now am trying to do something different.I need to see what happens this time :)

RE: recovery of part file

Open the oldversions folder and find the most recent old version of that file. Open it and tell it to restore old version to new version. You will lose anything between your crash and the last save but you should at least have something.

I had tried that as per autodesk's recommendation. But the old version files are only 3 in number and each of them not more than 10kb. Bad luck hah!!!

Is there any way I can upload pics into this forum? I can show u my new model being made.
Thanx for the time.

cheers
Sanju.
