RE: Hose material selection
1) Design Temperatures and Pressures the ambient temperatures.
2) The purpose of the hoses.
3) Required hose end fittings.
4) Sizes required.
5) Quantity required.
6) Length required.
7) Elastomer or braided metallic
Do the hoses come into contact with chemicals they need to resist, abrasion, ultra-violet rays or abuse.
Put together some spec sheets of your requirements, search the net for products that fit your needs, TALK TO THE END USERS ABOUT THEIR REQUIREMENTS IF POSSIBLE, call in some reps and have them bring you complete catalog info and show your their products, put together a list of suitable products and go out for competitive bids or use pre-approved pricing agreements and suppliers.

RE: Hose material selection
Related hoses shall be used in utility station. one for low pressure steam and another one for plant water/plant air/nirtogen services. 3/4 inches and 15 meter are hose diameter and hose lenght respectively. Opereting pressure/temperature for LPS service are 6barg/165°C and for the next one are 7barg/50°C. And for item 7, I do not know which is better for use in these cases and mainly what is difference between elastomer and braided metalic?
RE: Hose material selection
You'll need a reinforced elastomer, something like a garden hose except that it'll be an idustrial grade suitable for your design conditions. Call a vendor that sells hoses and tell him what your service is and your conditions. He should be able to tell you what you need. Check with your plant also to see what they use for these services now and what kind of connections they want on each end.
Good luck,
