What's the best duct material for the underground odor (H2S) control exhaust duct? FRP, HDPE or PVC schedule 80? The vacuum pressure of the exhaust system is about 5 inch...

Thanks!!!

RE: duct material for underground odor control

CPVC (chlorinated PVC) duct would be better than PVC, PVC would likely be the best option of the selected plastics you have noted.  CPVC has better compatibility  with H2S if it is wet.

See the attached website for chemical compatibility.

RE: duct material for underground odor control

the duct materials must comply with ul-181 ..... no?

insulated? ...... no?

i'd use frp ..... spunstrand, harrington, ershings, primary plastics, etc
