Saving a Schedule

Before making changes to a schedule, I have been trying to save its original by giving it a different name by going to:

Project Utilities - Copy; and naming the Project differently under the Copy - "To" tab.

However the system responds "Invalid Project Name".

Does anyone know how to save a Schedule with a different name in P3 version 3.1, such that the original remains unchanged for later reference.
