SimPowerSystems: Compound-source exciter

SimPowerSystems: Compound-source exciter

(OP)
Hi,

I want to simulate a compound-source excitation system for three-phase generators in SymPowerSystems (diagram below). It basically consists of a power potential transformer and a power current transformer that provides the field current. I am actually a Matlab novice, and i'm stuck with a couple of problems.

First of all the current transformer is connected to the neutral side of the generator, which i cannot get access to when I use the Synchronous Machine. How can this be solved, and which transformer can be used from SimPowerSystems.

Secondly, the 70 kVa power potential transformer is of the Dzn0 vector group, e.g. a Delta-Zigzag transformer with no phase shift. I tried to use the Zigzag Phase-Shifting Transformer with a delta secondary, connected in reverse, but is doens't accept a 0 degrees phase shift. Is there a alternative for this transformer?

Thirdly of most transformers i only know the pri/sec winding ratios, but not the nominal voltages and currents. I know that Np/Ns=Vp/Vs, but can i just enter this values the dialog assuming the transformers are ideal.

I hope someone can solve these problems, or provide an example.

Thanks in advance.
