When reading a coat analysis report for aluminum casting processes, there is an cost item named TR & R(other items are labor, molding, metal etc.).  Any one know what it stands for?
Thanks.

RE: casting cost TR&R

Maybe tooling repair and replace or tooling repair and refractory. What type of a casting process; permanent mold, die cast, green sand, no bake or investment cast?

Permanent mold and die cast are refractory lined and need maintenance on an ongoing basis.

Thanks Goahead and Billp.  I guess Trimming and Repair is very close.
