NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

(OP)
CAN I ASSIGN A  Weight TO A parasolid for a c.g. study. It is a clamp body. I know the Weight. But not shore how to assign it to the clamp body. Weight not density.

RE: NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

I don't think you can.  It is a simple formula to determine the density you should assign to get the weight that you need.  You know the weight, you can measure the volume; weight/volume = density.

THE CYLINDER BODY IS SOLID IN THE MODEL I GET FROM MY LIBRARY  BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE.
