Text/Dimension loss from *.DWG to *.DXF

Text/Dimension loss from *.DWG to *.DXF

Text/Dimension loss from *.DWG to *.DXF

(OP)
Whenever I write text or enter dimensions in my .dwg file, I always lose the text and/or dimensions when I transfer the file to .dxf format. Is there any way I can retain the text and/or dimensions when transferring the file to .dxf format?

Note: The .dxf format has to be saved into AutoCAD R12 format for the other program to understand.

Thanks,

Ken

RE: Text/Dimension loss from *.DWG to *.DXF

It is very common for all CAD programs to not retain text/dims in DXF. Very little will work, if any.

You could try exploding the dimensions first.
