200A standard recovery diode 1/2" thread

200A standard recovery diode 1/2" thread

(OP)
good day

I am looking for a replacement diode or supplier
for IR P/N: 200HF120PV and 200HFR120PV.

Since we have a lot of rectifiers in the field with this diode and its 1/2" UNF 20 thread, which is a must for us.

If anyone can help, I appreciate that.

Thanks.

Where have you looked?

IR PNs have been discontinued and other manufacturers have the same capacity but with 3/4" thread or metric size.

If you can live with the extra expense of a fast diode, Westcode have parts in the package you require. Those listed with as outline Fig. W22 are the ones you're after. If you're looking at a big order they might run a standard recovery diode in the 1/2"-20 UNF package. They seem to have gotten out of the small studmount market for standard rectifiers.

You could also try Powerex if you haven't already - they do a lot of 'specials' which aren't listed as main catalogue line items.

Buy an equivalent with the larger stud size, go to a machine shop, and have them mount it in a lathe and cut it down to the 1/2-20 size.

You left out the voltage you need. Is this a 1200V device?

IR does have the SD200N20PC which is a 200A, 2000V device in the DO-30 package.
