There has been some discussion here at the office on which provides better cooling in an enclosure for electronics.  I know there are factors for each but I thought I would put the question out here looking for feedback and opinions.

One of my classmate have design a Rankine cycle for cooling of electonics.

My vote is for negative cooling as in passive PCB components with high thermal conductivity which draw heat our of active (heat producing) components. This type keeps the transfer within the confines of conduction.
