NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

(OP)
CAN I ASSIGN A  Weight TO A parasolid for a c.g. study. It is a clamp body. I know the Weight. But not shore how to assign it to the clamp body. Weight not density

RE: NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

You can measure the volume and calculate the density from there.

Remember D=M/V  Density=Mass/Volume

Once you get the density, assign that to the Parasolid for your c.g. studies.

I hope that this helps!

RE: NX-3 Can I assign weight to a parasolid?

I thought that since V16 or V18, you can assign a weight to the solid body directly.
