Updating configurations in Part catalogue

Updating configurations in Part catalogue

(OP)
Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to update a part catalogue that I created from a CATPart containing a design table.  I have added new configurations to the design table but I cant seem to get the Catalogue to reflex the additions.  There doesn’t appear to be a Synchronize option in the Catalogue. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

ryengnut

RE: Updating configurations in Part catalogue

I've found the answer to my question.

In order to update a catalogue to reflect additions made to a design table that a catalogue was created from, one must do the following:

1) Open the catalogue then select the "Synchronize Chapter" icon in the Data toolbar.
2) Select the Chapter you would like to update (one can also only update a specific Part Family in the Chapter)
3) Click on the Synchronize button

The only downside is that this is only available in R16.
