Grey Water

Grey Water

Grey Water

(OP)
I am looking to produce a practical document for use by our engineers on the application of Greywater treatment.

I am interested in the following:

1) Physical properties of raw grey water. I am in particular interested in the apparently “common knowledge” that grey water BOD content and therefore treatability are similar to sewage. Intuitively, this seems unlikely to me.

2) The  “sustainability” of displacing potable water use through greywater treatment.

3) The  levels of disinfection required and "sustainable" methods of disinfection.

Any comments gratefully received.

RE: Grey Water

One can get much greywater but there are only so many toilts to flush ....
