VRML into AutoCAD

VRML into AutoCAD

VRML into AutoCAD

(OP)

Hello all,

We would like to be able to import VRML files into AutoCAD. We like VRML because it is a "lightweight" format (small file size).

My understanding is that AutoCAD can only import ACIS, 3D Studio and IGES. But perhaps there is a round about way to import VRML into AutoCAD? Maybe importing a VRML into 3D Studio and then a 3DS file into AutoCAD? Or perhaps there is an AutoDesk Add-on that allows the import of a VRML?

Thanking you in advance,

Joseph
