(OP)
When putting a section/detail view on a drawing, an annotation is automatically inserted and linked by some means to label the view.

If that annotation is removed, is there a way to restore it and have it linked again?

I can't seem to find the property to which it links.  Am I mising it somewhere or is it just gone?

RE: Drawings:Section/Detail View:Section/Detail View Label

I don't know of a way to restore it. Add the annotation and add the link.

RE: Drawings:Section/Detail View:Section/Detail View Label

This may be a bug ... er... feature.  smile

It seems that this is a special "View Label" note type annotation that can't be created via user interface or API except by creating some type of view that needs labeling.  Only the view labels have the check box "Manual View Label" in the property manager.  Sounds like an improvement request may be in order.
