Current measurement

(OP)
Hello,
I would like to know which benefits and drawbach there is when you meaure the current for your motor control :
1° In the motor phases (2 or 3)
2° In the DC link of the drive
3° In the negative legs of the bridge.
If someone can tell me the difference about efficiency, microcontroller memory (for points 2° and 3°, due to the current reconstruction) and so on ...
Thank you
Best regards

RE: Current measurement

Is this for an actual design?

RE: Current measurement

Please elaborate on the context of your question. Do you have an application in mind? Are you designing a new drive and are stuck on a problem? Do you have a drive and are questioning the design?
