RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

Try searching on "Bearing Sellers"
and contact them.  It may be in
stock at one of these sites.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

Basic bearing size is 6312
ID is 60mm
OD is 130mm
2 rubber seals
I cannot find the width of the bearing
perhaps you can measure the widths of the inner & outer rings, see if there is any offset of the races , and post it back on this thread

Still no luck in trying to locate this bearing!!! What I really need is to find someone who holds one of these bearings in stock.
 Any help greatly appreciated.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

Did you read my earlier post? What is the width? I called NSK in US, they gave me the basic bearing size as a 6312-2RS. They did not give me the width. Get out your caliper & measure it up.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

The width of the bearing is 31mm, however the raceway offset to one side, so a sealed 6312 probably won't do. An October delivery date seems quite reasonable, considering its not in stock anywhere.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

So the inner race and outer race are the same size. Is one of the races offset? or are they paralell? Is the raceway not centered in the bearing? NSK describes this as a radial bearing, not angular contact or thrust. You should be able to get away with a 6312 is races are parallel. If not you may be able to modify a standard 6312, or make a spacer if needed.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

The raceway isn't centered in the bearing.  Might be able to knife and fork it though with a standard bearing.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

I appreciate this is well out of date but this is a forum I rarely venture into. I seem to recognise that number, is it from a Siemens inverter rated motor...possibly driving a compressor??? Try your local Hayley branch, they got me out of the brown stuff when I wanted one. If it is what I think it is its a particular bearing made under license by NSK just for Siemens and not sold directly to anyone else. I waited about a week but it was sourced directly from Siemens in Europe as a spare part by Hayley. DONT try ordinary C3 or C4.....they dont last.

RE: TRYING TO LOCATE!!!!

Sorry...meant to add that the motor I had dealings with went up to 5500rpm via an inverter......I guess thats why the ordinary ones didnt last.

Thanks for your replys...This bearing is on the drive end of FANUC servo motor....I will try to locate a Hayley branch to see if they are one and the same bearings.
