sewer pipe expansion rings - sources?

sewer pipe expansion rings - sources?

(OP)
We are designing a product to mount to expansion rings placed inside sewer pipe and i was looking for a few good sources for these rings.  Any suggestions?

RE: sewer pipe expansion rings - sources?

I don't have experience this subject but you might want to check some names/companies represented on committee ASTM C923, "Specification for Resilient Connectors Between Reinforced Concrete Manhole Structures, Pipes, and Laterals"

RE: sewer pipe expansion rings - sources?

Are you talking about putting wires in pipes and holding them in place witha stainless steel ring installed in the pipe?

We will be putting a sensing instrument in pipes and using a metal band that expands along the interior circumference to hold it in place.  I've found a few companies that sell them as part of a sensor package of their own but no places that offer them as a stand alone component

Look in the Trenchless Technology Mag or Website, trenchlessonline. A few people make an internal seal that is held in by expanding stainless rings. I want to say Creamer is one.
