Standard voltage & frequency in Japan

Standard voltage & frequency in Japan

Standard voltage & frequency in Japan

(OP)
Please advise what are standard voltage and frequency (three phase and single phase)used at industrial facilities in nothern Hokkaido, Japan?

RE: Standard voltage & frequency in Japan

Household voltage in Japan is 100 V, sometimes 200 V. The frequency is 50 Hz in eastern Japan and 60 Hz in western Japan.

Industrial installations have their own transformers and the best thing to do is to ask the end customer what voltages are available on site. The frequency will be as said above.

Thank you, Gunnar. I found on the web that three phase voltage there is 200V (L-L)which seems quite low. We will get the info from the end user to avoid costly mistakes.
