BOM question

BOM question

BOM question

(OP)
Can not find any answers to the following:

Is there a way to force "renumbering" the SW BOM (and the balloons) so the go sequentially, 1, 2, 3, ... AFTER "turning off" some lines (items) in the BOM.

This is a bit "weird" assy, from some sub-assys (weldments of weldments), after many design changes etc (you know the pain)

The SW BOM is "parts only" type, but I do not want to show some parts - and I would like to have the numbers like 1, 2, 3 ... Right now I have 1, 10, 13, 18 ...(because some BOM items are "OFF")..
Tried to do search to this question, but I am not very succesful (probably I am not very good at the search)

Thanks

As usual, forgot to add:  SW2005  SP 4.0

RE: BOM question

what you need to do is go to the "Table Properties" of the BOM and move the lines that you turned off to the very bottom of the list. Do this by clicking to the left of the row item and selecting "row down"

Hope this makes sense.

Best Regards,
Jon
