Attribute error when trying to save with Intralink...

Attribute error when trying to save with Intralink...

(OP)
I just recently installed Intralink 3.4 M020 with my Wildfire 2 M019 (I think).  When I try to save within a wokspace I get the following error:

The following attribute definition(s) are not among Filebased in Pro/INTRALINK : Description

Anyone know how to fix this?  It won't let me save anything...  I don't know where to look for "filebased" definitions.

nevermind, sorry...  found it in admin...

Well, thought I had it fixed.  Still get the error for just one attribute even though I added it through admin just like all the others...

RE: Attribute error when trying to save with Intralink...

New install or an upgrade?

Description may need to be linked to PTC_COMMON_NAME in a Pro/E relations.

New install.

Stupid question here.  What is the "Designate" check box for?  If I uncheck it for description (all others were already unchecked) in my template the problem goes away, and I'm now able to save.

RE: Attribute error when trying to save with Intralink...

Designate will allow the ProE attributes to be seen by INTRALINK.

So, why is it that when "Description" is checked for designate, and "Description" is added to the attributes through Intralink's Admin I get an error saying it doesn't recognize it?

Hi Closer,

check spelling, and maybe case sensitive.
