Simple Skid Weldment

Simple Skid Weldment

Simple Skid Weldment

(OP)
Trying to do a fairly simple skid as a weldment. I have everything modeled & working on detailing the drawing. There seems to be nothing useful to snap dimensions too. I'm having to create extra sketches in the model to get the drawing detailed. Is this typical or have I missed a simple solution?

RE: Simple Skid Weldment

Do you have anything selected in the Selection Filter toolbar?

If not have you tried selecting for whatever you are trying to pick?

cheers

My point is... there's nothing to pick. The W beams have no center line... no origin... nothing to snap to.
