Vacuum Formed Ceramic Fiber Radiant Heater

(OP)
Ok, I have a question that I am hoping someone out there can answer.  I am a fairly new engineer and I am in the process of using a VFCFRH (for short) in junction with a new catalyst to raise it up to 500 Deg. C. (Don't ask me why, because the reason keeps changing).  Anywho.... I have an E thermocouple, a solid state relay, and a controller all ready to go with this heater, but where my problem is is that I am not particularly familiar with this kind of heater and I am not sure how to go about the approach to get it all going so that it can start heating up.  I am hoping this makes sense to someone out there. Anyone out there more knowledgeable about this application that could help clarifying things?
